White hearing from Gamecocks

Miami (Fla.) Booker T. Washington running back Anthony White made a name for himself at the Miami NIKE camp in April. He's picked up several offers and may be close to setting up his first official visit.
"I have just about the same list of offers as I've had," White said. "South Carolina is really the only school that has been consistently calling me so far. Some others may have called, but I guess that I just missed the call."

The 6-foot-0.5, 180-pound White attended the NIKE camp in Miami where he ran the 40-yard dash in 4.48 seconds, ran the shuttle in 4.37 seconds, he also posted a 32-inch vertical jump.
"I was supposed to go to the Miami-South Florida game last week, but I couldn't make it," White said. "I am trying to set up an official visit for South Carolina during the season so that I can catch a game this year."
As a junior White played primarily fullback and got limited carries. He did score eight touchdowns, but has taken over the tailback position this fall.
"So far this year I have rushed for 250 yards and five touchdowns through six games," White said. "I am still looking to take my officials before I make any kind of decision or anything like that."
