Miami (Fla.) Norland outside linebacker Garrett White is just about as physically impressive prospect as you’ll ever see on the high school level. He has already picked up several impressive scholarship offers and has set two official visits.
“I have an official visit set to Pittsburgh for December 14,” White said. “I also set one up to South Florida the other day for January 14. I plan on setting up my other three soon, but I’m not totally sure where yet.”
White comes at 6-foot-2, 223 pounds and runs the 40-yard dash in 4.6 seconds. He helped lead Norland deep into the playoffs as a junior.
“Right now Pittsburgh and South Florida stand out a little more than some of the others, but I’m looking around at a lot of schools,” White said. “Miami is still recruiting me pretty hard and they are one of my favorites.”
During his junior campaign White collected 85 tackles, recovered six fumbles and posted eight sacks.
“I want to take all of my visits before I make any kind of decision,” White said. “I am looking for a school that offers me a good education and a good team where I can win a championship.”
