White back from Wazzu

Brevin White is one of the top 2018 quarterbacks in the West, if not the country, and this past weekend the Mission Hills (Calif.) Alemany standout took an unofficial visit to Washington State. The Cougars are one of two teams along with Arizona State to offer White, who's putting up huge numbers this season.

WHAT'S NEXT?: It was important for White to take an unofficial visit to Wazzu to get a feel for what else is out there since he's been to the local schools - USC and UCLA - and now he's planning some trips to Arizona State as well. His brother, Brady, is a freshman quarterback with the Sun Devils and the family is expected to head to Tempe a couple times to absorb the atmosphere there.
IN HIS WORDS: "I really liked Wazzu. It was a perfect day in Pullman. The college town feel was insane. The environment for the game was something unreal. It was a sold-out crowd, loud, alive and just crazy. The character of the team was very encouraging. They were positive, upbeat and didn't give up. Also, I liked what I saw of the campus so far. It was a very cool place to be. The facilities were one of the best I've seen. They are all relatively new and I was very surprised with how nice everything was. Talking with the coaches went really well. They can see me in their Air Rad system and help lead this team in the future, which I can as well. It's a dream offense for a quarterback. I got a great feel from the coaches and I can definitely see myself ending up in Pullman."
RIVALS' REACTION: Washington State moved way up the list for White after his visit. It still might be difficult to leap over Arizona State, though, especially if Brady White has a good experience there over the next few years. The 2018 prospect should be a national recruit so he will have plenty of options and at this point it's just too early to tell.
