White adds to his offer list over holiday

Adrian White is one of the most sought-after defensive backs in the early stages of the class of 2010 recruitment. The cornerback out of DeSoto (Texas) High School has already picked up numerous scholarship offers from several programs around the country. Over his Thanksgiving holiday, White picked up one more offer to be thankful for.
"I picked up a written offer over the Thanksgiving holiday from Coach Butch Davis and the North Carolina Tar Heels," White said. "I was pretty excited about it. That makes a total of 10 offers thus far."

One of the reasons for White's early offer list is his performances in camp settings over the course of the spring and summer. He will have another opportunity to impress in January when he competes at the U.S. Army Combine in San Antonio. White is optimistic that a strong performance there may help him to garner even more offers.
After winning the defensive back MVP as a junior at the Fort Worth Nike Camp last summer, White has set the bar high for himself. However, he has been working hard in preparation for the US Army Combine. He also will be getting some very credible personal training.
"I have been working out pretty hard since our playoff game loss a week ago, getting ready for the combine," he said. "Also I will be working with former Super Bowl MVP Larry Brown over the next month or so and during summer, tweaking my one on one cover skills and footwork. I'm trying to get better all the time."
Along with North Carolina, White has already received written offers from LSU, Nebraska, Texas A&M, Oklahoma and others. He is a member of the Rivals250 to Watch list for the class of 2010.
