Which way will Britner go

Indianapolis (Ind.) Roncalli tight end Joe Britner did not put up spectacular numbers during his junior season, but he was certainly big in his teams drive to the state championship game
Playing in a run oriented offense, Britner caught 12 passes for 157 yards, averaging 13.1 yards per catch. He was a dominating blocker, fueling Roncalli's running game.

The 6-foot-8 and 235-pound Britner also averages 14 points and seven rebounds per game in basketball.
"I'm getting recruited for both football and basketball," Britner said. "I'm not sure which one I'll play, but I'd probably say football right now."
Britner has a variety of colleges on his football list.
"I'm receiving letters from Cincinnati and Purdue," he said. "I met a coach from Indiana at my school. I've been to Louisville for a junior day. And a coach from Stanford gave me a questionaire Friday at school."
However Britner's lone scholarship offer to this point is for basketball.
"Evansville offered me," Britner said. "Western Michigan, Butler, Wisconsin-Green Bay, and Bellmont in Nashville are the others ones I'm looking at for basketball."
Britner doesn't want to rush into a decision on which sport he plays at the next level or where he goes.
"I want to at least wait till sometime during basketball season to decide which sport to play," he said.
