Where will Green be this weekend

One of the hottest players in the West region right now in terms of pulling in scholarship offers has to be Sherman Oaks (Calif.) Notre Dame quarterback Garrett Green. The signal caller has reeled in three big time offers in the last week or so but said he has a lot of thinking to do before making a decision.

Green, 6-1, 185 pounds is one of the nation's top dual threat quarterbacks and has seen a very nice bump in his recruitment in the recent weeks.

"Yeah, it's been pretty crazy," Green said. "First Nebraska offered me, then Arizona State and last night, UCLA offered. It's exciting and I'm happy the way things are going for me right now.

There has been talk that Green would visit A&M this weekend but after the UCLA offer, we heard Green may trip to Westwood instead.

"I'm visiting A&M," Green said. "As for next week, it's still up in the air and I could visit UCLA or Nebraska, I'm not sure. I would like to visit both but I know I don't have a lot of time since it's already pretty late in the process. Everything has been happening so fast that I really haven't had a lot of time to sit back and think everything over.

"Right now, I'm excited about visiting A&M. They were one the first schools to offer me and have been with me this whole time. Nebraska has been recruiting me hard the last few weeks and I had a nice home visit with them last week.

"I just talked to Coach Dorrell last night and that's when he offered me. I was excited since they're the local school and I've liked them for awhile but I'm not ready to commit anywhere right now. The one thing about UCLA is they're the only school who has talked about me moving positions.

"They said they would bring me in as a quarterback and give me a chance there first but if things don't work out, they would like to move me to safety since they're a little thin there according to Dorrell. That might play a factor for me since I really like quarterback and that's the position I think I'm best suited for but we'll see what happens. Like I said, everything has been happening so fast that I haven't had a lot of time to think about what I really want to do yet.

"Right now, I'm just going to take this visit this weekend and then do some thinking and soul searching. I could decide on Sunday or Signing Day, I really don't yet. I'm goign to take my time, that's for sure and wait until I'm 100% comfortable with what I want to do before doing anything."
