Tennessee was off on Saturday, staying put in the polls ahead of a critical final stretch of its season.
The Vols, who beat Alabama in their last outing last week, remained at No. 7 in the Associated Press Top 25 on Sunday before hosting Kentucky at Neyland Stadium next Saturday (7:45 p.m. ET, SEC Network).

Tennessee, which has won two-straight games since its lone loss at Arkansas earlier this month, at the third highest ranked SEC team in the poll, trailing No. 2 Georgia and No. 6 Texas.
The Longhorns fell one spot after beating previously ranked Vanderbilt, 27-24 in Nashville.
Texas A&M entered the top 10 for the first time this season, climbing four spots to No. 10 following its win over LSU, while the Tigers tumbled to No. 16 after being previously ranked No. 8.
Ole Miss overcame a halftime deficit to beat Oklahoma and Missouri was shutout at Alabama. Both teams rounded out league representation in the rankings at No. 18 and No. 25, respectively.
Vanderbilt fell out of the top 25.

Tennessee is in position for another leap in the polls heading into November. The Vols are in the College Football Playoff picture with games against Kentucky, Mississippi State, Georgia, UTEP and Vanderbilt remaining and can bolster their resume by the time the initial playoff rankings are released next month.
Tennessee opened as a 15.5-point favorite against Kentucky. The Wildcats have lost three-straight, including a 24-10 loss vs. Auburn on Saturday.
