Where does DT Spence stand

Fort Walton Beach, Florida defensive tackle Akeem Spence has taken his time throughout the recruiting process but he's almost ready to make his decision.
The 6-foot-1, 280-pound prospect from the Sunshine State recently returned from his official visit to Syracuse, which he said went well.

"Yes sir, it went pretty well. It was fun. I met coach (Doug) Marrone. He's a good guy. I met coach (Derrick) Jackson and those guys. (He'll) be here this Thursday to meet my family."
Spence took an official visit to Iowa State back in October but the Cyclones have gone through a coaching change in the time since then. Nonetheless, Iowa State is a finalist for his services.
All that remains is an official visit to Illinois, which Spence will be taking this coming weekend.
"Well, I think I've narrowed it to Illinois, Syracuse and Iowa State. I'd say they're about even. I'm probably going to wait until around Signing Day to make my decision."
Spence went on to say each of those three schools has spelled out a similar role for him. He is a three-star prospect according to Rivals.com.
Fort Walton Beach finished the season 10-2. For the year Spence had 80 tackles and five sacks. He also played well in the Florida North-South All-State.
