When youre hot, youre hot

When you’re hot, you’re hot and when you’re not, you’re not. One player who is definitely in the hot category is JUCO linebacker prospect Chris Davis (6-1, 225, 4.6) from Moorpark College is definitely in the hot category.
Davis picked up his first offer from BYU and looks like the Cougar offer is going to be the first of many.

"Coach Lamb the linebacker coach from BYU watched film with Chris and liked what he saw,” Chris Davis’ Dad said. “BYU offered on the spot. Chris will try to squeeze a mid-week visit to BYU next week.”
Davis was late home for dinner yesterday because a deluge of college coaches ascended upon him at Moorpark College.
Seven different colleges were on campus to meet and watch film on Davis on Wednesday December 3rd.
“Chris called and informed me that he would be late for supper,” Chris Davis’ Dad said. “The reason being that he had seven different schools show up to see him!”
“Chris met Coach Lubick from Colorado State and Virginia Tech was with him when he called home.”
“Temple, San Jose State, Utah State and New Mexico State were other teams that I remember.”
As a sophomore, Davis had more than 100 tackles, eight sacks, three forced fumbles and two blocked field goals.
At this point Davis has four visits set and pending visit to BYU.
Davis has already visited UNLV on November 21st, he will take his second visit to Hawaii this weekend on December 5th and he will follow up that visit with a trip to Colorado State on December 12th.
Michigan State will get a visit from Davis on December 19th.
He has been talking to coaches from Weber State, Troy State and Arkansas State.
One Pac-10 Conference school might be coming into the picture for him.
"UCLA just requested my transcripts and tape,” Davis said. “I don’t have much time. Michigan State starts classes on the 12th of January."
Davis doesn’t have a particular favorite at this time.
