Flint (Mich.) Carman Ainsworth lineman Ryan Wheat is drawing interest from many, many colleges. However at this point he is mainly talking about six schools with three at the top of his list.
"Michigan, Michigan State, and Ohio State are the main ones I'm really interested in," Wheat said. "The others I'm looking at are Wisconsin, Indiana, and Pitt. They are keeping contact with me with a lot of letters."

At this poing Wheat has one scholarship offer on the table.
"Michigan State offered," he said. "They were the first one. There's a few others in the works, but Michigan State is the only one that's come through officially."
When asked who his favorite is between the Spartans, Wolverines, and Buckeyes, Wheat said, "That's hard to say, but maybe Michigan."
Wheat will be in Columbus in May.
"I went to Michigan and Michigan State for junior days," Wheat said. "I'm going to the NIKE Combine at Ohio State May 5."
Wheat has been to the state schools on his list for spring activities.
"I've been going to Michigan and Michigan State for spring practices," Wheat said. "I'll go to their spring games. And I'll probably go to their football camps."
The 6-foot-4 and 286-pound Wheat has been a varsity starter since his sophomore year. He has played both defensive and offensive tackle. Wheat made 43 tackles including three sacks during his junior season.
