Whats next for Reggie Ellis

Rivals250 defensive tackle Reggie Ellis cut his list to eight schools last month. The season is quickly approaching, so what's next for the Washington (D.C.) Dunbar lineman?
"Recruiting has been about the same," he said. "I'm still talking to my final eight schools, Alabama, Boston College, Illinois, Maryland, Michigan, Penn State, Pittsburgh and Rutgers.

"I haven't planned any visits yet. I probably will soon once I narrow my list down a little more."
Do any colleges lead at this time for the 6-foot-2, 278-pounder?
"I've seen on Rivals that people think Illinois is my leader, I find that kind of funny," he said. "Everyone is the same to me.
"My biggest thing is playing time. I think I'll be ready to come in and play wherever I go. I plan to come in and work hard. The other thing I need is my relationship with the coaches. They've got to be down-to-earth and outgoing."
Currently Ellis is still thinking about graduating early.
"That is the plan still," he said. "I'll probably decide in the middle of the season after I take four of my officials."
Meanwhile, the four-star prospect is getting ready for the season.
"Everything has been going great, the season is on the way," he said. "We start two-a-days next week and have just been lifting and running. I've seen a major improvement in my skills. I'm faster, quicker, stronger and meaner. I also have more knowledge of the game."
Dunbar kicks off the season on August 24th in Ohio.
