Whats next for Hand

To say that the No. 1 player in the Rivals100 has a handle on his recruitment is a bit of an understatement.
When Da'Shawn Hand says he is taking a break from recruitment, that's what he means.

"The only thing I've been doing is training," said the 6-foot-4, 248-pound Hand. "I haven't talked to any coaches."
That's the way it has been for the standout defensive end from Woodbridge (Va.) Woodbridge Senior since he narrowed his list from five to three, eliminating Virginia Tech and South Carolina.
The remaining three teams, Alabama, Florida and Michigan, will have to patiently wait for Hand to make his next move.
"All of them are sending me mail," he said. "Michigan is sending a lot of handwritten mail. Florida is trying to get in contact with me the most. Alabama is respecting what I said and know that I'm taking a break. Michigan is doing the same. I like that about them. Florida, on the other hand, is still trying to get in touch with me. My coach is handling all of that."
Michigan is thought to have a slight lead at this time, though Hand will not comment on that. The Wolverines' top commit, Jabrill Peppers, is doing his best to convince Hand that Ann Arbor is the place to be. Peppers has said that he is trying to recruit Hand but all Hand would offer up is the following.
"Jabrill is my man," Hand said with a laugh. "He's cool, very funny. They love him out in Michigan."
Hand strengthened his hold on the top spot in the Rivals100 earlier this month at the Rivals100 Five-Star Challenge Presented by Under Armour.
