Whats new with Rivals100 RB Ryan Williams

Offers continue to pile up for Rivals100 to watch athlete Ryan Williams out of Manassas (Va.) Stonewall Jackson. The 5-foot-10, 192-pounder is up to approximately two dozen offers according to his head coach Loren Johnson.
"Every school hasn't offered, but he's got scholarships from Notre Dame, Virginia, Virginia Tech, Maryland, Clemson, Connecticut, Duke and more. Florida is showing a strong interest along with Penn State and Tennessee. I'd say he's up to 22 or 23 offers."

The big question of course is does Williams have any favorites?
"He doesn't talk about anybody. He's just taking it all in," he said. "This is the uniqueness in his situation because he's focusing on winning games and getting our team going. He's worried about this team and trying to get other players into college too. That's the thing about him is that he's real mature and isn't just thinking about himself."
At this time, Williams is working hard in preparation for next season.
"He's still going out working hard in the weight room and I'm pumped up about him lifting," he said. "He's doing everything you ask of him and his athleticism has taken him above and beyond what he wants to do.
"No. 2 he's grinding it out working to be an every down back. He doesn't just want to play first and second down. He's also preparing himself academically to get straight A's so that he can be accepted at any school in the country. He's doing everything we'd want him to do."
Plenty has been said about Williams already, but what does Johnson have to say about his star tailback?
"I get that a lot and I basically tell everyone that his film speaks for itself," he said. "Ryan is a football player, that's the end of it. I've been around guys like Michael Vick, Cornell Brown, Torrian Gray, Ray Lewis and DeAngelo Hall. Those guys can play anywhere and this kid is going on the field to play anywhere too."
Williams plans to attend the Nike Camp in Baltimore this weekend.
