Wetterer sticking with the Cardinals

Cincinnati (Ohio) Anderson offensive tackle Mark Wetterer committed to Louisville just over a month ago. With the change in coaching staff, is the 6-foot-5, 295-pounder still firm on his pledge to the Cardinals?
"I'm excited about the new coach," he said. "You know I liked coach Petrino a lot, but I understand he's got to do what he's got to do. I'm glad they selected Kragthorpe. He seems like a good guy and a good coach."

The three-star lineman was surprised to hear Petrino was leaving.
"It surprised me a lot," he said. "I actually didn't hear about it until the next morning and I couldn't believe it happened, but I can say I'm still committed to Louisville."
What is making Wetterer stay with the Cardinals?
"When I went on my official visit I liked the players a lot," he said. "I also can say I did like the coaches. I don't know if any of them will still be around, but I could tell it's a good school and I felt comfortable.
"As for coach Kragthorpe I know he totally turned around Tulsa's program. I think he can do a very good job at Louisville."
