It's been a busy summer for Class of 2021 Michigan defensive back Leroy Watson as he's made his way all over the country to participate in various camps and combines. Some of those appearances on college campuses has led to early offers, including in-state program Western Michigan. Rivals.com recently caught up with Watson to talk recruiting, including his offer from Broncos and what it means for his recruitment.
IN HIS WORDS
"Right now I have offers from Miami of Ohio, Western Michigan and Youngstown State."
Western Michigan: "I got that offer when I went up there and camped at the beginning of the summer. It was a good experience. Our team went there for a 7-on-7 and we competed and did well and the coaches liked my game."
Feedback: "Before we played in the tournament I took a visit in the morning and got to spend some time with the coaches. It was good. I got to see campus and I liked it. They told me that my skillset and my speed and hips and my quick feet is what they really like about my game."
Meaning of offer: "It was good to get an offer from an in-state school but I just have to remain humble and keep working."
Return visit: "I think I'll go back and see a game this fall."
