Westerkamp torn between two

PHOENIX - Jordan Westerkamp has a big decision to make but the four-star wide receiver isn't going to decide anything this week at the Semper Fidelis All-American Bowl.
The Lombard (Ill.) Montini standout committed to Nebraska in early May but visited Notre Dame earlier this month and is now torn on which program to pick.

Westerkamp said he'll finish this week out, return home, talk things over with his family and reach a final decision probably next week.
"I'm going to enjoy myself this week and I'm really not going to look into it that much this week," Westerkamp said. "I'm going to have fun and enjoy it."
The Notre Dame visit sparked lots of interest in Westerkamp, rated as the No. 42 wide receiver in the 2012 class and seventh in the Illinois state rankings by Rivals.com, especially because the Irish throw the ball so much.
He cited Michael Floyd registering 95 catches this season followed by Tyler Eifert having 57 receptions as two big reasons why he's so impressed with that offense. Notre Dame throws the ball a lot and Westerkamp is drawn to it.
"I took a visit there and we really enjoyed it," he said. "I enjoyed it and my family did, too. It's going to be tough and I don't think I'm going to be making a decision until the week after the bowl. I want to enjoy myself this week with all these great athletes and kick back.
"Their offense stands out. They throw the ball a ton. Their leading receiver had 90 catches, their second guy had a lot, too. They throw the ball a ton and as a receiver that's huge. Also the education really stands out and it's just great there."
It's not going to be easy for Westerkamp to make the switch from Nebraska because he thoroughly loves that program as well. His visit in October was a highlight and Westerkamp said he felt compelled to commit there because everything stood out about the place.
"I love it at Nebraska," Westerkamp said. "I really did and that's why this decision is so hard because when I went to Nebraska it blew me off my feet and that's why I committed.
"I really enjoyed the place and I love it there so it's going to be tough. When it comes down to it I'm going to have to make the best decision for myself and I'm not sure what that is yet."
