West wide open

Three-star all-purpose back Charles West has seen his offer list explode.
It has taken some time, but the 5-foot-10, 190-pound standout has picked up offers from Arkansas State, BYU, Colorado State, Kansas State, ULM, Memphis, Purdue, San Diego State, Texas State, Texas Tech, Toledo, Tulsa, and most recently Arkansas.

The momentum is definitely moving in the right direction and West is taking in all the information he can right now.
"I'm still going through the process and just taking everything in," West said. "You've just got to evaluate every school closely and make the right decision."
He is currently looking at all of his options and while he does not have any concrete plans he does hope to make it out to a few college campuses in the near future.
"I'm just going to try and hit every school that has offered me and see how campus life is and speak with the coaches," West said.
Recently, West was able to check out the University of Arkansas.
"It was a great experience," West said. "I went down and met with the coaches and toured the campus and went home with an offer. So that's a good thing. It means I'm doing big things."
There were also a few aspects of the visit to Fayetteville which caught his attention.
"I'd never been there so just seeing the facilities and school and everything. It was nice," West said. "And meeting all the coaches."
In addition to his scholarship offers, West is also receiving considerable attention from Mississippi State, Arizona State, and USC.
At this point in the process, he does not have a timetable for a decision.
"It could be as early as tomorrow or at the end of the process so I don't really know yet," West said.
