The Latest: Earlier this month, four-star Roswell, Ga. wide receiver Corey Reed let it be known that Louisville is the team to beat in his recruitment. But now it appears as if a new contender as entered the mix. Reed picked up an offer from West Virginia this week and the Mountaineers clearly caught his attention. Why is the school intriguing to Reed? Rivals.com caught up with him to get the latest.

In His Words: "I like West Virginia. I actually think it would be a school to help get me to the NFL. They have a tradition of producing NFL wide receivers. Ever year they have great receivers and now their new wide receivers coach, Coach Carrier helped send Corey Coleman to the league when he was at Baylor. I want to head up there and take a visit before my season starts."

Rivals Reaction: West Virginia does a great job of recruiting the state of Florida and have made renewed efforts to get into Georgia as well. While the Mountaineers are later to the party than most of the schools on Reed's list, getting him on campus would be a big step toward challenging Louisville and the other programs high on Reed's list.
