West Virginia ATH planning trips

Huntington, West Virginia athlete Craig Crawford is ranked the top prospect in the state by Rivals.com, and as such he has attracted a lot of attention throughout the recruiting process.
The 6-foot-2, 196-pound prospect currently holds offers from Arkansas, Wake Forest, and Marshall, and those schools, along with Purdue and Vanderbilt, are the ones he has been in closest contact with.

Crawford plans on taking an official visit to Arkansas on November 1 for the weekend of the Razorbacks' game against Tulsa.
"I like Arkansas a lot," Crawford explained. "They're an SEC school and they play good football down there. I'm going to be looking at them real closely. They've probably been recruiting me the hardest recently.
"After that I'd like to visit Marshall or Purdue. I'm not sure if I'm going to visit Vanderbilt or not. I'm just working with whatever (offers) I've got right now."
It may not be too much longer until Crawford makes his decision.
"Maybe I'll go to Purdue or somewhere like that after the visit to Arkansas, then right after the season I should make a decision," he said. "Everybody's about even right now. The trip to Arkansas will be my first visit."
Crawford is ranked the No. 41 athlete in the nation.
