West linebacker looking at options

Ryan Powdrell's Mission Viejo, Calif., team enters their Friday state playoff game with a stellar 10-0 record.
Powdrell has been a key contributor to his team's success both at linebacker - with around 10 tackles a game, four sacks and one interception on the seson - and at fullback.

The 6-foot-1, 235 pound Powdrell has the same favorites in Washington (offer), Arizona State and Fresno State (offer).
He has also been hearing from New Mexico quite a bit lately and that interests him since he is from New Mexico orginally.
"How well the team does and the campus environment are the things that are important to me," he said.
"I want to take all five official visits, but except for Fresno State (Jan. 25). I still haven't decided where I'll visit and when other than Fresno State."
Powdrell doesn't have the core GPA necessary to be fully qualified at this point.
"I may go the Prop 48 route or even to junior college for two years in order to get fully qualified," he said.
