Wes Jefferson Names Leader

Brandywine (Md.) Gwynn Park linebacker Wes Jefferson had the biggest hit at the U.S. Army All-American Bowl, but he was also injured on the play. How serious is it and what's new with recruiting?
"I sprained my ankle, but it's not that serious," said the 6-foot-2, 230-pounder. "It still hurts, but it'll be fine. I had a good time, I just wish I could have played more."

So what's the latest with recruiting?
"It's getting tiring," he said. "I wish it was further along. I have my visit to Ohio State this weekend and then Notre Dame on Jan. 17 and that's it. I was thinking about Penn State, but that won't happen now. I'm getting worn out with all the travel."
Is there a leader?
"Maryland is my leader," he said. "I feel the most comfortable there, but it's still close. I liked Miami and I want to see the other two places before I do anything."
Jefferson said he'll announce right before Signing Day or maybe the day after.
