Position: Linebacker and fullback
Size and speed: Weil is 6-foot-1 and 230 pounds. He has been timed in the 40-yard dash at 4.6 seconds.
Statistics: Weil made 50 tackles including eight sacks during his junior season. He also rushed for 960 yards.
Favorite Schools: Committed to Illinois
Skinny: Weil is one of the top 15 overall prospects in the state of Illinois. He played defensive end and fullback during his junior season.
"I committed to Illinois tonight," Weil said late Monday night. "I called coach Turner, but he wasn't home. He called back and I committed."
"He was very excited. I'll play either linebacker or fullback."
"I was mainly looking at Illinois and Iowa."
"Illinois seems like a good college for me. I wanted to stay close to home. Illinois is the kind of school I want to go to."
