Last week, in week one of high school football in the state of Georgia, Justin Fields played on Friday, then Trevor Lawrence suited up and played on Saturday.

In week two, the top two prospects in the country in the 2018 Rivals 100 played on Friday night.

Each once again had their share of success. One more on the ground, the other through the air.

LOOKING BACK: Week One: Lawrence vs. Fields

It was business as usual for Lawrence. He did not even make it to halftime against the No. 4-ranked team in 3A. He excited the game with around seven minutes to go in the first half with Cartersville up 51-0.

The Yellow Jackets messed up a little earlier in the day on Twitter that may have added a little fuel to Lawrence's fire.

As Lawrence said, Calhoun made the "wrong move".

About seven and half hours after Lawrence's tweet, he exited the game going 13-20 passing for 317 yards and four touchdowns. The longest touchdown of the night was for 60 yards. He is averaging 326 yards passing per game and he has 10 touchdowns on the season.

Lawrence won his 33rd straight start and the Clemson commit will be at Atlanta Westlake next week, a team that has defensive backs that are committed to Michigan and Mississippi State.

While Lawrence was doing what he does as the No. 1 Pro-style quarterback, Fields showed why he is the No. 1 Dual-threat quarterback against North Cobb, the No. 6-ranked team in 7A.

Throughout some rain showers, Fields was dynamic on the ground rushing for 218 yards on 19 carries. He had touchdown runs of 72, 15, 3 and 2 yards on the evening. He also ran in a two-point conversion to cut the game to 45-42 with about six minutes to go in the game. That ended up being the final score.

Fields did not pass the ball as much finishing with 8-16 for 100 yards on the night and one touchdown pass. He has seven rushing touchdowns and seven passing touchdowns on the season after three games.

Last week against Rome, Fields turned the ball over twice and he did the same this week. He fumbled twice around his own 20 yard line when trying to make something happen under pressure and both led to scores for North Cobb.

Fields has an off week next week.

He will be at the Alabama vs. Florida State game as a Seminole recruit Saturday evening in Atlanta. Auburn and Georgia are also being considered by Fields.
