Birmingham (Mich.) Groves defensive back and wide receiver Aaron Webster committed to Cincinnati Jan. 11. With the recruiting process behind him, Webster is looking forward to his career with the Bearcats.
"Right now they say defensive back, but maybe wide receiver," Webster said. "They've talked about me playing as a freshman."
Among Webster's scholarship offers before he selected Cincinnati were Colorado, Toledo, Bowling Green, and Northern Illinois.
"The others all stopped recruiting me now," Webster said.
Webster looked back on his decision to commit to the Bearcats.
"I was real cool with the coaches," he said. "When I visited there I really liked the coaches and players, especially my position coach."
The 6-foot-2 and 194-pound Webster intercepted seven passes and caught 40 during his senior season.
