Wazzou scores in Arizona

Washington State has made a living out of taking players that some times are under the recruiting radar screen. And the class of 2006 for the Cougars has added another player that might not be a household name – yet.
Washington State has landed a commitment from Mesa (Ariz.) Dobson running back Marcus Richmond. The 6-foot-2, 200-pounder picked Wazzou over interest from Arizona, Arizona State, Nebraska, Northwestern, Notre dame, Oregon and Washington.

"Yes, he verbally committed to Washington State," Richmond's mother said. "He's at work right now, but you can talk to him a little bit later."
In addition to his ideal size, Richmond has turned in an impressive 4.48-second 40-yard dash and covers 100-meters in a blazing 10.9-seconds.
The comparisons he draws are equally impressive.
"People have compared me to Adrian Peterson (Oklahoma)," he said. "I think it's a compliment."
