Atco (N.J.) Winslow Township wide receiver DeVante Waugh has one offer to date and that's from Louisville.
It's another Big East school, however, that Waugh will be visiting next weekend.
The 6-foot, 165-pound receiver from the Garden State has been sitting on an offer from the Cardinals for quite some time, but plenty of other schools are interest. West Virginia is one of them and now Waugh is seizing the opportunity to size the school up.
"I think I'm going to West Virginia's spring game," Waugh explained. "I need to get a ride situated, but I should be going. They've sent a coach by my school and I've talked to them."
Waugh hasn't received any indication that the Mountaineers plan on offering him in the near future but making it to campus would help him get his name out there a little bit more.
"I haven't had a chance to visit any schools lately. Vanderbilt is one of the new schools getting involved. They're sending me mail and I've talked to coach (Charlie) Fisher over the phone. He said they're looking at me real heavy. He just wants to see more film on me."
Louisville has been keeping in touch, too. Waugh last spoke with a member of the Cardinals' staff about two days ago.
"Me and coach (Larry) Slade have a good relationship," he noted. "They would be at the top of my list."
Waugh said he won't be making a commitment in the immediate future.
