Watts adds Big 12 offer

The offers continue to mount for Forney (Texas) North Forney athlete Armani Watts. During the season UCLA and North Texas became the first to offer. Clemson has added their name to the list, and Baylor offered following a February junior day.
On Tuesday Watts added his second Big 12 offer.

"I got an offer from Oklahoma State," Watts said. "I'm taking it slow right now really, but it's a blessing to get all those offers now."
When it comes to favorites, Watts is not in a hurry to name his list. He does not claim any leaders at this early point in the process, but he does like that each of his offers are at safety.
Throughout his playing days the 5-11, 185-pound standout has made plays at running back, cornerback, and receiver as well as the safety position, but safety has always felt most comfortable.
"That's the position I like to play," Watts said. "I can make big plays and big hits that change the momentum of the game."
Over the next few weeks Watts plans to hit the road for a few junior day visits. He has attended Baylor's junior day, and this time around he hopes to make his way to a couple of SEC schools.
"I'm trying to get out to LSU on Saturday, and Alabama invited me to theirs on the 23rd," Watts said.
Watts is currently ranked No. 210 in the 2014 Rivals250. As a junior he rushed for 1,016 yards and seven touchdowns on 162 carries and 8 receptions for 188 yards and two touchdowns and earned first-team all-district honors at safety.
