Wattenberg starts with two Pac-12 offers

Luke Wattenberg is off to an enviable start to the recruiting process with three offers and it seems like more could be coming soon for the 2016 offensive tackle.
The San Juan Capistrano (Calif.) JSerra Catholic standout had recently landed offers from Cal and Oregon State and then in the last few days landed BYU as well.

Wattenberg, a 6-foot-4, 265-pound prospect, is pleased with how things are going but is clearly in the early stages of the recruiting process.
"Coach (Zach) Yenser gave me his phone number and I contacted him and then he came down to my school and he offered me," Wattenberg said.
"The Oregon State coach contacted my o-line coach at school. I called him and he offered me over the phone.
"They're both great offers for me at this point. I love both of the schools. They both have great head coaches. Sonny Dykes and Mike Riley are both great head coaches."
Wattenberg has the three offers but he does not have any favorites at this point.
The JSerra Catholic lineman said he's still waiting to see on other teams plus he's taking some visits this summer. After that point, he could have a better feel on what he's looking for in each program.
"It's still very early," Wattenberg said. "I'm just waiting to see what else happens for me. I'm just taking it slowly."
The 2016 prospect said he's receiving steady interest from Colorado, Washington State, Duke and Nevada. He's planning to take visits or go to camps at Oregon State, Cal, BYU and Cal Poly this summer.
