Watson talks commitment status

Jabari Watson remains committed to Arizona and that doesn't look like it will change but the three-star defensive lineman is open to other official visits.
The Fontana (Calif.) Summit standout said last week that he wants to see some other schools but that most everybody has backed off recruiting since he pledged to the Wildcats in July.

"I'm still talking to Arizona and I'm committed to Arizona all the way," Watson said.
"I want to take some other visits but no other schools are talking to me. If some other schools start coming after me I will look at them, look at their education and try to build a relationship with the coaches.
"Other than that, Arizona is where I'll be."
Boise State, Nevada, New Mexico, San Diego State and Utah State had also offered Watson, a 6-foot-3, 255-pound three-star who could play inside or outside once he gets to college.
It sounds like Watson has considered the idea of taking other official visits but the Fontana Summit standout also wants to make it clear that he's really locked in with the Wildcats as well.
"I still talk to them a lot," Watson said. "I love the coaches so everything is good there."
Watson was supposed to visit Arizona in July but he could not make the trip out to Tucson.
The three-star said he's not sure about an official visit date but would like to make it out to Arizona sometime this season.
