Watson set to visit Rutgers

Brandon Watson is one of the recruits that plans to visit Rutgers this weekend.
He won't be the only recruit in town but the 6-foot, 185-pound cornerback from Elkton (Md.) Eastern Christian Academy is definitely one to watch. He's got an early offer from Temple and the Class of 2014 prospect would seem to be an offer candidate for the Knights, if not now then down the road.

Eastern Christian Academy is 3-0 on the year and Watson has been an anchor on the defense, picking off two passes and returning one for a score.
He has avoided the recruiting process for the most part but this weekend that strategy changes.
"I'm going to the Rutgers game this weekend," Watson said. "The Rutgers coach has been talking to me on Facebook so I want to get up there."
Rutgers isn't the only school apparently evaluating Watson. He has also been in touch with West Virginia, Vanderbilt and Michigan State.
Though the Owls are the only program to offer Watson said he hasn't spoken much with the coaches from Temple.
Rutgers is targeting several prospects from ECA's Class of 2014.
