Watson schedules first official visit

Miami (Fla.) Booker T. Washington defensive tackle Elkino Watson used a strong senior campaign to see his offer list increase. His two most recent additions came from major in-state schools.
"Florida and Florida State were my latest offers," Watson said. "It was big when I got those."

The Seminoles and Gators joined a list that includes Duke, Florida International, Louisville, Marshall, Middle Tennessee, Minnesota, Rutgers, South Florida, Central Florida, and Wake Forest.
"Right now I don't have any favorites," Watson said. "I am just evaluating and trying to narrow my choices."
The three-star defensive lineman has yet to hit the road to check out any of the interested schools, but he will be in the near future.
"I haven't taken any visits yet," Watson said. "I have one planned to Gainesville on December 10th, next weekend."
In addition to his visit to Florida, Watson expects to use all of his five allotted official visits.
"I will probably visit Louisville, Rutgers, Florida, and Florida State," Watson said. "There are some other schools as well."
The 6-foot-2, 275-pound defensive tackle has just two main traits that he wants in whichever school he ultimately opts for.
"I want a school where I have a good opportunity to play," Watson said. "I also want to feel a whole family bond when I am there."
Watson expects coaches from Florida State and Louisville to visit him this week.
