Watson picks up second offer

Sean Watson is a three-star defensive tackle prospect from Panama City, Florida. Watson, 6-3 and 283 pounds, is from Rutherford High School. He recently received his second scholarship offer.
"I got an offer from East Carolina a few weeks ago," Watson said. "I know they like me on both sides of the ball; as a center and defensive tackle. I have talked with them almost every week.

"I saw them play yesterday (against North Carolina). They fought pretty hard and seem like a tough team. I know last year they beat Virginia Tech. They are good enough to play and compete the big boys.
"I will try and take a visit there this fall. I should take it after the season in November and December."
Watson said that teams like Southern Miss, Florida State, USF, Virginia Tech and Florida Atlantic are all showing interest.
"Florida Atlantic told me I would get an official offer if I were to commit to them. USF said they are waiting on film. I think they may offer, Virginia Tech has recently asked for transcripts."
Watson's first offer was from Florida International.
Rutherford is off to a 1-2 start this season. Watson said he's made some improvement to his game.
"I am having a pretty good season. I'm using my hands better now then ever before. I am playing low and using my hands."
