Watson helps team off to hot start

Oklahoma City (Okla.) Putnam City two-star cornerback Nico Watson has helped his team off to a great start. Putnam City is 2-0 on the season.
And his effort last week was something he was really proud of.

"The first we won 20-0, however I didn't get to play had a bad virus and was running a temperature," Watson, who is 5-foot-11 and 179 pounds, said. "In our 2nd game we won 17-16. I started at defensive back, and had seven tackles five solo stops, three pass deflections and two interceptions.
"This week I will most likely start at defensive back, and play quite a bit of quarterback and punt return."
Watson has one offer on the table from Air Force, and he said the Falcons are pushing him hard to make a decision.
"The Air Force is really trying to get me to commit," Watson said.
"But Josh Henson with LSU has really start showing a lot of interest again, and I think he want to see a couple more games in person this fall."
So where will he be heading to?
"I plan on taking a few visits to some home games in the near future at TCU, SMU, and LSU, and Arkansas State, and most definitely with Air Force," he said.
