Watkins lands Buckeye offer
Ohio State always seems to land a player or two from the Sunshine State. Could it be Jaylen Watkins this season? Watkins, from Cape Coral (Fla.) High School, picked up a scholarship offer from Ohio State earlier today.
"Ohio State is a top program," Watkins said. "I am really excited about this one. This is a great offer. I am definitely going to try and make a visit up there this summer. I don't know much about them yet but I'm looking forward to getting to know everything about them."
Watkins, 6-1 and 172 pounds, now has scholarship offers from Florida State, Alabama, Ole Miss, Wake Forest, Tennessee, Vanderbilt, Central Florida, Duke and Marshall. He plays quarterback and in the secondary for Cape Coral.
