Watkins back from PSU

Camden, New Jersey wide receiver Tyree Watkins has been committed to Virginia since early in the summer but he hasn't stopped thinking about other schools.
Over the weekend the 6-foot-2, 185-pound prospect took an unofficial visit to Penn State. What did he think of the experience?

"It was just an unofficial visit but I had a great time," Watkins said on Monday, having returned home to New Jersey. "It was a nice experience. The atmosphere was great and the whole place was just wonderful.
"I met up with a couple of other recruits there and we took a tour around the football facilities, then we got a chance to see the team warm up before the game.
"The crowd made a big difference. There were more people there (than other places) and the atmosphere just blew me away."
Watkins does not have any plans to take other unofficial or official visits in the near future. He said he will compare his schedule to those of the schools he is interested in and go from there.
"At this point I don't have anything planned but there are definitely some schools that I'm still considering," he said. "Right now I'm looking at UConn, Stanford, South Florida and West Virginia as well.
"I'm still a soft verbal to Virginia, though. I've talked to the offensive coordinator, Mike Groh, a little bit recently. I'm not sure when I'll announce my final decision."
