Watch out for Jersey sophomore

Linebacker and fullback Nick Bandoni out of Carteret, N.J. is an up-and-coming sophomore that is going to be a Division I prospect.
"He's certainly a Division I prospect," Carteret head coach Robert Molarz said. "If he continues to excel on the field and as a student, he's going to be a good one to keep an eye on."

This season Bandoni helped Carteret to a 10-2 record as they reached the state finals. He went on to post 48 tackles on defense and played fullback his sophomore year, although Molarz says he'll be seeing more time as a tight end the next two seasons.
As for what position he'll play in college, Molarz thinks he's an outside linebacker.
"I think he'll probably be a stand up outside linebacker," he said. "He's one of those guys you can just put on the line of scrimmage and he'll probably be a 6-foot-4, 250-pound edge player."
Schools keeping an early eye on the sophomore include Rutgers, Syracuse, Boston College and Virginia.
This spring Bandoni is looking at attending Rivals Blue Chip Combine at Rutgers in May.
