Washington State Lands NorCal DL

According to Fresno (Calif.) Edison head coach Tim McDonald, defensive end Lawrence Ball has committed to Washington State.
"He still has some things to work out academically but he recently committed to Washington State and is very excited to be going there," McDonald said. "Kenny Green has done a great job recruiting our kids, all of our players that he was recruiting really like him a lot. Washington State has impressed me with how hard they've been working. They have put in a lot of time and effort and I can appreciate that. Pullman is not an easy place to recruit to but they're doing a nice job."

Ball, 6-4, 245 pounds is a talented pass rusher who was a 3rd team All-State selection this past season after totaling 46 tackles and a team leading 10 quarterback sacks.
"He's very quick off the ball and uses his hands well," McDonald said. "He has a non-stop motor and has college size right now. I think he's an excellent prospect."
