Washington returns from Washington

Long Beach (Calif.) Poly standout linebacker Mark Washington (6-3, 240, 4.58) had an outstanding trip to Washington this weekend. Washington is one of the best linebackers on the west coast and he is being sought after by some of the best programs coast-to-coast.
“The trip went well,” Washington said. “I had had a great time. It was a real nice visit.”

“I didn’t commit because I want to take more trips,” Washington said.
Washington was selected all-league after collecting 117 tackles, 23 tackles for loss, four pass deflections and three forced fumbles.
Washington will trip to Colorado this coming weekend December 20th. It will somewhat of a homecoming for Washington. He spent his early days in Aurora, Colo., just south of Denver. Washington’s has ties to CU his dad was played for the Buffs.
The Ohio State Buckeyes will get Washington’s next visit on January 10th.
“Florida State and Oklahoma are beginning show interest,” Washington said. “I could end up taking visits there.”
