Washington returns from ASU

Long Beach (Calif.) Poly linebacker Mark Washington (6-3, 240, 4.5) just returned from Arizona State and the trip went better than expected. The talented linebacker commit to the Sun Devils?
No but Dirk Koetter and crew sure did great job getting into the hunt.

“It went well,” Washington said. ‘It was better than I expected. ASU has the number one rated weight room in the country. They even have their own sprint track in the weight room. It’s humongous.”
“ASU has all the latest fitness technology,” Washington said. “They have outstanding resistance equipment. Resistance training helps explosion. Explosion is what helps a smaller man pancake a larger one.”
“ASU was really nice,” Washington said. “They definitely made a positive impression on me.”
“I would say that ASU is now right there with Colorado,” Washington said.
Colorado and ASU are in a dead heat with UCLA on deck January 24th.
Washington had a knockout senior season accounting for 117 tackles, 23 tackles for loss, four pass deflections and three forced fumbles.
