Washington ready to get to Tulsa

CEDAR HILL, Texas - It's been nice for 6-foot-2, 307-pound offensive guard Brandon Washington since making his college choice a few months ago to play for Tulsa. Now that he is all set to go for college, he can focus on finishing out his senior season on top.
Tulsa was a school that always made him feel comfortable and though Ohio had sent their offer, the two-star versatile prospect decided that the Oklahoma school had exactly what he was looking for. He hasn't looked back since.

"I'm all set," Washington said about his Tulsa commitment. "I just like their staff first of all. I felt really at home there. I also liked the school because as far as academics goes, I can work one-on-one with the professors. I also liked the environment up there. I just got that good vibe."
Sam Houston State and Louisiana Monroe were pushing for Washington to take another look at their schools. The commit is not rude to the other schools, but clear on his intentions.
"It's usually just a real casual conversation," Washington said. "I also tell them I'm committed to Tulsa and I'm solid."
Washington would like one more thing before he leaves the halls of Cedar Hill High School.
"I want to be an all-state pick," Washington said. "I mean I don't know if that will happen, but that has been my goal all season long."
