Washington QB has options

J.T. Levenseller of Pullman, Washington is close to a visit with Hawaii as he has narrowed his list down to Washington State, Eastern Washington and Hawaii.
"Washington State and Eastern are still my only two offers but I'm taking a trip to Hawaii," Levenseller said. "I think sometime in the next two weeks. They still have to get back to me on the official date."

Levenseller feels he has a good shot at landing an offer on his visit to Hawaii and if so then they will be in prime position to land his commitment.
"Right up towards the top because I think if they do offer me it will be as a quarterback," Levenseller said. "Washington State offered me as a receiver and Eastern as a quarterback. Right now I don't have a D-I offer as a quarterback."
Playing quarterback is a big selling point on Levenseller, however it will not be the whole determining factor.
"Well yeah, to a point yes," Levenseller said. "At the same time I just kind of want to get on the field."
Levenseller also says he most likely won't take an official visit to Washington State as he already has a pretty good amount of knowledge about the program there.
"I haven't and I don't know if I will," Levenseller said. "My dad is a coach there. I know how the whole University works up there and everything."
Will his dad be a factor in his decision?
"Yeah a little bit," Levenseller said. "That's definitely a factor in my mind with the whole thing."
However, he also said that his dad is not trying to pressure him into being a cougar.
"He just kind of wants me to make the decision on my own," Levenseller said. "He's trying to stay out of it."
A decision should be coming soon from Levenseller as he plans to think things through after looking at Hawaii.
"Probably sometime here in the next couple weeks after I take my Hawaii visit," Levenseller said.
