Washington planning preseason decision

Kennedale (Texas) running back Juwan Washington has been focused on track over the last few months and helped guide the Wildcats 400m and 800m relay teams to UIL championships.
The standout running back has also seen the action pick up on the football recruiting front.

"Football, it's picking up," Washington said. "I've been talking to a lot of different schools, and I plan on making a decision no matter what schools I've got the first week of two-a-days. So we'll see if everything falls into place right there."
So far Washington reports three offers on the table with more and more schools showing an interest.
"I have Arkansas State, Oklahoma Central, and Houston right now," Washington said. And a lot of schools I'm receiving interest from like BYU, Texas, TCU, (Texas) Tech, and Oklahoma so we'll see if they fall into place."
This summer, Washington plans to attend several camps with the first stop being Oklahoma in June.
After his summer travels he plans to make a preseason decision, but he is not ready to name any leaders at this point in the process.
"Not yet," Washington said. "I'm still seeing what I like and getting a connection with the coaches and stuff."
The standout running back does know what he is looking for in a future college program and it is really pretty simple.
"Most of it is just seeing what I like and that can better me for the future," Washington said. "Second is playing time. I want to come in and play early and get a lot of touches."
