Washington picks up another pledge

Washington continues to pile it on.
The Huskies received their 12th public commitment Thursday when Cerritos (Calif.) Gahr wide receiver Josh Perkins picked Washington over offers from Idaho, Minnesota, San Diego State and San Jose State.

Perkins, a 6-foot-3, 200-pound recruit, is the third receiver to pick Washington this recruiting cycle.
He joins Aubrey Coleman from Walnut, Calif., and Graham (Wash.) Graham-Kapowsin's Jamaal Jones, who pledged to the Huskies last weekend. Jones was the top wide receiver at the recent Eugene NIKE Camp.
Perkins had 36 receptions for 486 yards and nine touchdowns last season and also listed interest from Oregon State, California, New Mexico State, Washington State and others.
The Gahr standout also becomes the seventh prospect this cycle from the state of California to commit to the Huskies as coach Steve Sarkisian and his staff continue to tap into their connections.
Perkins, Coleman, four-star running back Brendon Bigelow, offensive lineman Maataua Brown, defensive back Kameron Jackson, linebacker Matthew Lyons and athlete Elijhaa Penny are all from California.
