Washington OL wants to show mom

Edmonds-Woodway (Wash.) offensive lineman Keith Grennan, only in his second-year playing organized football, is receiving recruiting calls from Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Washington State.
"They've been calling," Grennan said of the schools. "But I don't have any (scholarship) offers yet."

A scholarship is exactly what Grennan had hoped for when the 6-foot-7, 315-pounder convinced his mom a year ago, finally letting him play football.
"She would never let me play before," Grennan said. "I told her that if
she let me play and if I worked real hard that I might get a scholarship. I
hope that comes true. She came around, but it just took a while."
Grennan mentioned no favorites among his choices. However, he said that he plans to attend nearly every Washington Husky home game.
