Warren ready for visit No. 3

Long Beach Poly (Calif.) defensive back Donovan Warren has taken two of his official visits already this year and will take visit No. 3 this weekend to check out a pair of teams on his short list.
Warren, 5-11, 160 pounds and regarded by many as the top cover corner in the west region has taken official visits thus far to Arizona and Michigan. He'll be heading up to Berkeley for his third visit this weekend.

"I'm going up to Cal to watch them play UCLA," Warren said. "Even though we play Friday night, it will work out because Cal doesn't play until 5:00 Saturday so I'll be able to get up there Saturday afternoon and still see a lot of the campus before heading over for the game.
"I'm looking forward to the trip because I really enjoyed my first two visits. Cal is a school that has recruited a lot of players from Poly and I'm close with Desean (Jackson) and Gary (Doxy) who played here and they like it a lot there. Cal is a strong program and is having another big season this year. I like their defense a lot and they're losing some defensive backs so the opportunity to step in and play early at Cal is intriguing to me as well.
"I've never been to Cal before and I'm looking forward to checking everything out and just seeing how comfortable I am with the campus and the players and coaches on the team. It will also be cool to see them play UCLA because they're high on my list as well so I'll be able to see two of my top teams going at it."
Warren said his last two visits will be to Oregon and Ohio State and he's still working out dates for both of those schools. He's also looking at taking unofficial visits to USC and UCLA and said he sees himself waiting until close to Signing Day before making his decision.
