Wariboko wades through visits

With one official visit in the book, Josh Wariboko isn't setting the recruiting world of fire with news or revelations. Instead, the words he uses to recap his trip to Ohio State are familiar. Most post-visit interviews are identical, and Wariboko sticks to the script as well as anyone.
How was the four-star guard's trip to Columbus? In less than shocking news, it was "great."

"It exceeded my expectations," Wariboko said. "I really liked the staff. The atmosphere or the game was second to none. They have great fans and the players had good camaraderie. It was a really great trip."
With that trip in the books, Wariboko's recruitment will move forward. Next up on the visit schedule is a Nov. 22 tour of UCLA, which is thought to be one of the frontrunners to land the Oklahoma City Cassady School's standout's commitment.
Wariboko has seen Westwood before. He expects no surprises. Instead, this trip is for the benefit of his parents, both of whom attended Oklahoma.
"My family will be down there with me, so that's big," Wariboko said. "I want to get my family around the coaches and really see what they have to offer and see what direction the program is going right now.
"My family just wants to do what's best for me. Honestly, they would love me to go to Oklahoma but they want to do what's best for me.
Wariboko, who was once committed to the Sooners, lives mere miles from OU's Norman campus and remains undecided on an official visit to the hometown school. As his official visit schedule continues to take shape, that decision will work itself out.
"That's still possible," Wariboko said of an official to Oklahoma. "I haven't set anything up yet. I just know UCLA is my next visit.
Wariboko still plans to announce his decision at January's Under Armour All-American Game. If, for some reason, he isn't ready by that time, he will wait for National Signing Day in February.
