Ware prepares for visits

Cedar Hill (Texas) three-star running back Aca'Cedric Ware has received offers from Florida, Houston, Iowa, Northwestern, Texas Tech, Ole Miss, Colorado State, SMU, and Maryland since receiving his first offer from Clemson in mid-January.
He took a visit to TCU in early March, but has not taken any trips or attended any junior days since then. He plans to change that fact with a couple of big trips in the next few weeks.

"I plan on going to Auburn's spring game and Iowa's spring game next week," Ware said.
The standout back also has a few visit plans for the summer.
"This summer I know I'm going to Ole Miss and Clemson," Ware said.
In addition to his unofficial visit schedule, he currently plans to take his official visits in the fall.
Ware is not ready to name any one leader at the top of his list right now, but a few college programs have caught his attention.
"Yes sir, Ole Miss, Iowa, Clemson…schools like that are starting to stand out a lot," Ware said. "They show more attention. They're always checking up on me and making sure I'm staying on top of my grades and doing well. Iowa actually sent me letters from their entire coaching staff so that was pretty special."
Ware is not in a hurry to make his decision, with plans to wait until his senior year to decide, but he does have an idea about what he is looking for in a future college program.
"I'm looking for a great coaching staff," Ware said. "I don't want to play for a coaching staff that doesn't respect me as much as I respect them. I'm looking for a good education so I can get my diploma and my degree. I'm also looking for how much time I'm going to get on the field because I don't want to go to a school where I'm not going to play until my junior year or something like that."
As a junior, Ware rushed for 1,270 yards and 11 touchdowns on 142 carries on his way to first-team all-district honors. Ware is currently ranked No. 32 among the nation's running backs, and No. 52 in the Rivals.com Preseason Texas Top 100.
