Cedar Hill (Texas) 2015 running back Acacedric Ware has had a tremendous season to his point, averaging 10 yards a carry on his 59 touches and has rushing for seven touchdowns in 2013.

Saturday in Waco, Texas, the 8-2 Cedar Hill Longhorns began their highly-anticipated playoff run as a favorite to make a push for another state championship game appearance. However, the reality of the craziness that is Texas High School Playoffs quickly set in as the Longhorns went into halftime staring at a 28-7 deficit to Temple.
Ware put the only points on the board for Cedar Hill with a three-yard touchdown run in the second quarter, but there was no happiness to be found. There were also no reservations amongst the team that the Longhorns could pull out the win.
"There was no doubt, we knew what we had to do," Ware said. "We knew we had to pull together as a family. We knew what we had to do. There was no doubt at all."
And pull together they did. The Longhorns fueled partly by three second-half Ware touchdowns were able to come back to claim a 39-35 win.
It did not always look as if the Longhorns would pull out the win, but Ware cut Temple's 10-point margin to margin with a 43-yard touchdown run with 5:36 left in the game.
"All that was going through my mind was win for my family, win for my brothers. That was the only thing going through my mind," Ware said. "I knew we had to punch it in to get this win. This win means a lot to us. We're going to take this win and keep moving forward with it and we're going to go get this ring as a family."
After the defense forced a Temple punt on the next series, Ware put the Longhorns on top for the first time in the game with a 17-yard touchdown scamper.
After losing two yards on his first two carries of the day, Ware finished with 120 yards and four touchdowns on four carries - the kind of display that has attracted the attention of college coaches.
He has already taken trips to Alabama, LSU, TCU, and Oregon with each of them leaving a strong impression.
"My favorite game was Alabama. Nick Saban, that's the coach," Ware said. "The LSU game, I liked their speed, I like their quarterback and their team. All the other games I like their team. I like how they pull together as a team to get a victory. That's sort of what we did."
As for who is showing the most interest, and how much recruiting attention he is receiving, Ware is not worried too much about all of that right now.
"To be honest I really don't know how much attention I'm receiving, so I'm just staying humble and waiting on my time and just praying to God," Ware said.
