Cedar Hill (Texas) running back Aca'Cedric Ware has seen the offers begin to mount. He received his first offer from the Clemson Tigers and they were quickly followed by the Florida Gators. Now his list has grown to include the likes of Iowa, Ole Miss, Texas Tech, and on Tuesday he added his most recent offer from Arizona State.
As he begins to look at the recruiting process a few schools have begun to stand out from the rest.
"A few schools who are standing out are Iowa, Ole Miss, Clemson, Florida, Texas Tech, and schools like that," Ware said. "Iowa is standing out the most right now. They check on me every other day and making sure I'm staying on top of my grades and things. Ole Miss is the same. They check on me also, but Iowa they are always looking out for me."
"Ole Miss, I talk to their coaching staff every now and then," Ware continued. "They hit me up on Twitter. I like their coaches. I could tell if I were to go to Ole Miss I know we would get along real well. Clemson they're the same way. Plus I have family in South Carolina so that would be a good thing for me. I also have family in Mississippi but I have a lot of family in South Carolina and I could stay close to home if I were to visit down there."
Ware was hoping to visit a few schools this spring. He had plans to visit Iowa for the Hawkeye's spring game, but he had to put those plans on hold as he prepares for track regionals. Spring visits may not be put on hold, but he does have plans for the summer.
"I know this summer I will be visiting Auburn. Auburn hasn't offered yet, but they want me to come," Ware said. "So I'm going to be visiting Auburn, Iowa, Ole Miss. You know all those top schools. Clemson. All of those schools."
Ware has a few schools standing out right now, but he is not in a hurry to make a decision. His current plans are to evaluate his schools, and he has one factor higher on his list than others.
"My decision, I'm looking at playing time and education," Ware said. "I don't want to go to a school where I could be a star but have a bum education. Education comes first in my household. I want to study architecture and construction or mechanical engineering."
