Ward moves up decision date

Oakland (Calif.) McClymonds tight end NaDerris Ward was originally planning to make his college choice public during the CaliFlorida Bowl on December 31st. Even though Ward said he's still not 100% sure of his decision, he has decided to move his decision date up and could decide in the next week or two.
Ward, 6-5, 250 pounds has completed all five of his official visits. He has checked out LSU, Arizona, Tennessee, Georgian and Florida and has also been visited by all his schools.

The Dawgs have been Ward's favorite since back in the summer and after each of his visits, the tight end maintained that Georgia was still on top of his list. So with all that in mind, you would think this would be a slam dunk decision for him right?
"I still like Georgia a lot and their my top team but LSU is still a school I'm thinking a lot about," Ward said. "It's really down to those two but I'm just not 100% sure of my decision right now and until I am, I don't want to rush anything.
"Georgia is a school I've liked for a long time and they really recruited me harder than anyone since the summer. I had a great time on my trip and they have everything I'm looking for in a school. They have a great staff of coaches, I like the players and the offense and I think I could play early there.
"With LSU, it's a lot of the same things. I like the coaches and the offense they run and feel like I could compete for early playing time there as well. The thing that really stood out about LSU though for me was just how well I got along with all the players. We just really bonded and it felt like such a family there. I know I would fit in great at both schools.
"I'm just going to take the next couple of days to think things over and then I should be ready to decide pretty soon. I didn't want to sit on my decision for too long so that's why I decided to do it before the CaliFlorida Bowl. I'm probably going to do something with ESPN but we haven't talked about a time or date yet but it should be pretty soon here."
